Hannah bought her first home on her own at 25, all thanks to being a 'cheapskate'
Victorian woman Hannah Armstrong grew up in a family full of cheapskates - literally.
Hannah's mother, Cath Armstrong, is the founder of the popular 'Cheapskates Club', in which she has shared her money-saving tips with thousands of Australians for decades.
Money wasn't always tight in the Armstrong family, but it became so very suddenly when Cath and her husband both happened to lose their jobs in the same week.
Cath then found out she was pregnant with Hannah, her third child, just as the family finances were at their most precarious.
